Liquorice Park is maintained entirely by a great team of volunteers. If you would like to volunteer please contact Alison Griffiths, the Volunteer Coordinator, at: alison@liquoricepark.co.uk or 07944 581550. Alison will arrange a mutually convenient time for you to have an introduction into volunteering at the park and hear about your skills and interests.
After your induction, there are usually two sessions for volunteers each week:
- 10.30am – 1.00pm Wednesdays
- 10.30am – 1.00pm Sundays
At these sessions, volunteers may often be found working in various areas around the park but the best place to find us is the Herb Garden (see Park Map). Sessions may be cancelled in poor weather conditions – contact Alison to check if you are not sure. There is no obligation to attend specific sessions, although it is helpful to know numbers so the work for the session can be planned and the 11:30am refreshment break can be catered for.
